When I joined Devcco, I was promised a lot of flexibility, and I decided to put it to the test by proposing to work from Green- land for four months. I am grateful that Devcco took up the challenge and turned it into a rewarding learning experience for both of us.
I have now been working from home in Greenland for three months, and I must say that the daily work life here fits me and Devcco perfectly. In fact, the four-hour time difference has helped me become
more efficient, as after my 8-hour work- day, it’s only 1:00 pm in Greenland, leaving me with plenty of time to either explore Nuuk or continue working.
Occasionally, when snowstorms or whiteouts force me to stay indoors, I take advantage of the situation by modelling energy systems and advancing our clients. It’s not often, but when it happens, it’s a great opportunity to make the most of my time.
